Asian food havens Kuala Lumpur Restaurants

Malaysians take food very seriously and its evident in most Kuala Lumpur Restaurants. The staple food is rice which forms the basis for many Asian delights.

Malaysia is well known as an Asian food Haven for the fact that its comprised of many races of people who brought their Asian foods and culture to this great land.

The main races are The Malays, Chinese and Indians not forgetting the other smaller subgroups of the Bumiputera (Kadazan, Bidayuh, Iban and Murut) and the Orang asli (Sakai, Senoi and Jakun). These cultures influence the restaurants in Kuala Lumpur in terms of catering for different palates.

The Malay food is found mainly in Malay restaurants and Mamak stores which are run by Muslim Indians catering on Halal Food.

Chinese people also enjoy treating their palates to Malay foods though they have their own delights in Chinese restaurants. The food here is mostly Non Halal like pork and a variety of sea foods. Chinese foods are the most diversified. So if you are looking for new cuisines, look out for their foods in numerous Kuala Lumpur Restaurants.

Malaysia, being a food haven as i mentioned earlier also caters for Western, European and other Asian Cuisines. Its also one of the countries where restaurants operate 24 hrs.

I love it. Anytime I feel hungry even 4AM in the morning, I can still treat my palate over Yamchar(Chat over drink) with friends.
